Kate went green for her latest royal engagement. The Duchess of Cambridge along with husband William attend a media party at Buckingham Palace hosted by the Queen. As well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and Camilla mingled with reporters, journalist, photographers and presenters including Chris Evans, Ferne Cotton and Phillip Schofield for the evening. The event was to introduce the Queen and other royals to some of those reporting on her Diamond Jubliee celebrations next year. And to mark the occasion, the palace's East Gallery was renamed the Tweet Suite for the night, where the 350 visitors could tweet on the evening.
For the event, Kate wore a green dress by British label Mulberry. And a massive well done to the brilliant What Kate Wore who, within minutes of the Daily Express' Royal Reporter Richard Palmer describing it, had correctly identified it. The silk dress, described as Bright Cabbage no less, is covered in a jacquard-weaved Peace and Love motif. It's super subtle but gives the dress a fashion edge. The dress is available to buy online via the Mulberry website and costs £1400.
Will look out for full length pictures but here's the dress in the Mulberry ad campaign - doubt the Duchess worn knee length socks though.
