Kate and William step out at the fourth annual Sun Military Awards, also known as the Millies, this year held at the Imperial War Musuem. The couple, alongside Prince Harry, were joined by famous faces including David Beckham.
Kate looked supremely stylish in a black strapless Alexander McQueen dress - and showed off some seriously toned arms. It looks to be an altered version of the original Alexander McQueen dress (below), with the sheer skirt being replaced with velvet and frill edging added on the bustline. The original version cost a cool £3995/ $6850 - although it did later go on sale for $3425.
Alas I can't find this available anywhere online but do let me know if you find it. Kate worn some gorgeous gems including a diamond necklace and possibly ruby which was reportedly given to her as a wedding present - @RegalEyes on twitter thinks it looks like ruby but this is not confirmed.
A version of this dress was also previously worn by Naomi Campbell. The supermodel's dress, which she wore to the 2010 British Fahion Awards, had an embellished neckline.
Kate carried a black velvet clutch with oversized bow by Pretty Ballerinas and still available via Large Designer Shoes (thanks to What Kate Wore for the share). And it's currently on sale for $111 from $185. There's still on-going discussion as to Kate's shoes but I have to agree with those suggesting Jimmy Choo Cosmic shoes which you can buy via net-a-porter, £435/ $695.
The annual awards honours members of the Brtish Armed Forces and civilians, with eleven awards being presented to groups, individuals and units.
