Millions of people lined the banks of the Thames to cheer the Queen's Diamond Jubilee River Pageant. And Kate and William joined the Queen on board the Spirit of Chartwell. And the rain didn't put a dampener on the day, some had even camped out overnight to secure the best view of the royal barge. It was joined by a 1000-strong flotilla which sailed the seven miles down the Thames from Battersea Bridge to London's Tower Bridge to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

And for the occasion Kate wore a gorgeous red Alexander McQueen dress. And although Kate's dress has had sleeves added, the eagle eyes of Carly over Kate Middleton Style spotted that this dress had, in fact already been worn twice before. First up was singer and X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos who wore the red dress in July 2011 to the X Factor auditions in Liverpool. Then, in August 2011, Kim Kadashian was snapped in the same dress. It's made from wool-crepe and features a cutout overlay and pleated skirt. And although it's no longer available, the original version, as in not Kate's which has sleeves, cost £1,195 from Matches and net-a-porter.
Kate also wore a beautiful red hat with what looked like floral detail, made by Sylvia Fletcher from royal milliner James Lock & Co, nude heels and red clutch. In terms of jewellery, Kate wore her Kiki McDonough Citrine Drop earrings (thanks to My Small Obsessions) and pinned to her dress was a beautiful brooch, which the Express' Richard Palmer has this to say about on Twitter,
Kate's wearing a maritime-themed brooch featuring two silver dolphins. It's a gift from the Royal Navy Submarine Service.
The flotilla was the largest on the River Thames since 1662 - when one was held in honour of King Charles II.
