Ditching the red maple leaf fascinator and cream Reiss dress, Kate Middleton changed into a purple silk jersey dress by London-based designer Issa for the evening celebrations of Canada Day. Her hair swept up and back off her face, the Duchess of Cambridge paired the look with black shoes, an Anya Hindmarch black silk 'Maud' clutch, previously worn to Sam Waley-Cohen's wedding in June and that ever-sparkling diamond leaf brooch borrowed from the Queen.
Both the Duke and Duchess looked happy and relaxed, laughing and joking during the show. Check them out in this video.
Issa is clearly one of Kate's favourite designers, choosing the fashion house for important photo moments such as the engagement announcement. And this gorgeous purple dress is the third occassion in two days Kate has plumped to wear Issa. Let's see how many more I-want-that Issa dress she wears over the next week.
